I regularly receive feedback from administrators and supervisors on my teaching performance in the classroom. I
use this feedback to improve upon and to develop my skills as an educator. I also collaborate extensively with colleagues
in my department and we share ideas on how to improve our instruction.
Here is evidence that I post mastery objectives for each lesson and that I provide students with instruction in a clear
and patient manner.

At Watkins Mill, all teachers become a member of one of the many smaller professional learning communities that the school
fosters. I belong to the biology teachers' professional learning community and we meet weekly to discuss instructional
strategies and how to teach our content to students.
